I'm excited to introduce myself as the Principal of Valley View Elementary School. It has been my sincere pleasure and honor to become a member of this great school community. As a former Valley View School educator of 13 years, I am truly privileged to be the principal and am looking forward to working with the dedicated staff to provide the best possible educational opportunities to our students. Over the past 20 years, I have worked as a teacher and an administrator in the Coachella Valley Unified School District. I’ll spend a lot of time with your children, getting to know their personalities, learning styles and interests. I will celebrate their successes, small and large. I will encourage them every day and let them know they are valued and have a special place in our school community.
Not only am I excited to working with your child but I look forward to the work we will do together. A quote that has resonated with me by Martin Luther King Jr, “We may all have come on different ships but we are on the same boat now.” I am eager to work together towards the same goal, student success. I will be here to work with you, your child and will help you navigate this educational journey together. As a former 23 year Coachella resident, I am a product of the Coachella Valley Unified School District. I once walked the same school halls your child walks today and that they will walk in the future.

I am so excited to join the Valley View Family and return home to the Coachella Valley! I have spent the last 18 years in the Los Angeles area working in and out of the classroom as an educator. Of the many things I learned was my true passion in life and that is; the teaching and learning process! I love to be a part of students’ learning and impact their success! Watching their bright faces light up with new ideas and solutions is what motivates me each day. In addition, working with teachers to continuously improve our craft and collaborate to implement the very best teaching practices is a critical aspect of the learning process and one that I am enthusiastic about! My goal at Valley View is to work to build strong trusting relationships with students, teachers, staff and parents. With that trust, we can encourage and empower our students to achieve their individual goals and support them along their journey every step of the way!
